With horses…

Rescue – Locate and obtain abused, neglected and unwanted
horses with the permission of the owner.

Restore – Provide a thorough health check, and provide
necessary veterinary care to return horses to medical health.

Rehabilitate – Provide shelter, food, loving care,
rest, and appropriate exercise to return horses to optimal
physical condition consistent with the horses' age and potential
ability.

Retrain – Teach/re-teach the horse using non-aggressive
methodology to perform as a safe, enjoyable horse. Often horses
who have been abused or neglected learn or acquire bad habits
or behaviors.

Relocate – Find suitable owners who understand the
history of the horse and can demonstrate the ability to become
a responsible horse owner.
With people…

Respect – Teaching respect for animals often translates
into respect for others. Respecting animals for their value
to man, works toward ending animal abuse.

Responsibility – An education program to teach potential
future horse owners and/or riders the proper care, feeding,
nurturing and training components of horsemanship.

Recreation – Provide an opportunity for the public
to learn the benefits of a healthy enjoyable relationship with
a properly cared for horse.

Resources – Provide needed information on the importance
of providing material and volunteer resources needed to carry
out the programs and mission of Rescue Ranch.
